The Casa Timiș Mural

Vineyard. Wine. Life

In the vineyard, in the wine cellar, in every bottle of wine created and every corner of Casa Timiș.
We decided that our single wall of  Veranda dintre Vii, our Mediterranean restaurant of Casa Timiș, should become a canvas on which to reproduce an image from 1925, the year the mansion was built, which brings back to life the traditional artisanal way of processing grapes, which represents the basis today’s wine and wine innovations.

Le porte Italia. Venetian painters. Sinopia.

Our collaborators on this project, which has become a masterpiece, were just as special.

Le Porte Italia was founded 30 years ago by Enrico Lenarduzzi who wanted to bring back to life the traditional Venetian history of handmade decoration.

Le Porte Italia artists have studies at the Academy of Arts in Venice and Florence, and their collaborations go as far as masters of Murano glass and ancient fabrics to meet any demand, from a single element created to complex projects such as Castello di Casole , Egerton Hotel, Ashford Castle, Gran Canale Property, Maison de la Mer, Palazzo Molin, Palazzo dell’Angelo and recently, the mural of Casa Timiș.

Most of their work is in the United States, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal and recently the Middle East and India. You can also find them at Il Salone del Mobile in Milan – where we also discovered them – Maison d’Objets in Paris and Decorex in London.

Marco Mazzilli and Giuliano Amendola, the two Venetian artists who in a record time of two weeks made the 21 meters of the mural at Casa Timiș, used a technique made famous by Michelangelo in the Renaissance, SINOPIA, which represents the fresco stage that consists of drawing a preparatory sketch by creating small dots that follow the preliminary outline. After completing this step, the drawing is progressively covered with a layer of dust that will represent the starting point for the work done.

As for the Casa Timiș Mural from Veranda dintre Vii, we can confidently say that it is more than an artistic masterpiece, it is a scene with educational values, a story inspired by the old tradition of wine production that starts from crushing grapes and turning them into grape juice.

We invite you to into our house, of Casa Timiș, to feel the emotion produced by such a great creation that completes the architectural genius of Veranda dintre Vii!
