Start your journey with Lip\u0103ne\u0219ti commune, where Zamfira Monastery is located. It\u2019s a short trip and takes about half an hour. Inside the church, you can admire an artistic masterpiece of exceptional value, the only fresco work by Nicolae Grigorescu, the greatest Romanian painter.\u00a0 The painting is breathtakingly beautiful and it was recently restored. You can continue your tour with a visit to the famous Sl\u0103nic Prahova resort. The top objective here is the salt mine, where you enter by minibus through a salt tunnel, as if you were journeying towards the earth\u2019s center. The salt mine is grandiose and contains 14 trapezoidal halls, whose height reaches 70 meters. It’s a place worth visiting at least once in your lifetime. Fill your lungs with air – it is the cleanest and healthiest in Romania. The high concentration of aerosols and the total lack of allergens and pathogens recommend it in the treatment of many respiratory diseases.
